Early Childhood Literacy

Our Early Childhood Literacy programs hire bi-lingual staff to work with parents speaking languages most common in our neighborhood: (Arabic, Haitian-Creole, Mandarin, and Spanish).

One program, Community Literacy Activities, hosts monthly weekend family gatherings on our front lawn, while the other program, Parents As Teachers, visits homes, coaching parents in literacy, preparing kids for school.
